Milspouse Matters Episode 96 with Tips from Jen McDonald and Other Military Spouses.
At a new duty station and not sure how to connect? Let’s talk about tips to settle into a new place.
On this episode, I’m answering a question a listener submitted about getting established at a new duty station, even if it’s not a place you would have chosen to live or you don’t think it’s the greatest location. On Episode 93 I talked about how to cope when you hate where the military has put you, so be sure to go check out that longer episode!
I get a lot of questions from listeners about different aspects of military life and I thought it would be fun to do some shorter episodes and “quick tips” where I answer those in a quick way and give you some actionable tips for your military spouse life. Have a question? Fill out my survey and let me know what you want to hear about!
But for now, let’s talk about how to settle in when you’ve just arrived at a new duty station, with tips from my experience as well as some input from my Christian Military Spouses Facebook group!
