Love your blog.
This does not seem right — whenever I went to Germany even during Christmas/New Year, I never did get to see the snow – the closest was the remainder which would be considered “slush”. And the first time you go, you seem to get the works – and that at Easter when everything is supposed to blossom. I am so proud of you, Jennifer and of Matthew, Gabriel, Grace and Anna for making the best of every situation. It has been such a joy to speak to each of you telephonically. Please give your husband/dad (my son) a big hug for me – if he is home long enough. Hoping to be able to visit you soon.
I love and miss you all very much.

Jen it snowed the day after I got to Germany. April 6th. I cried.
Then the spring came and I had never seen anything so beautiful. (not saying much, I came from AZ land of rock yards) But it is just so wonderful. The sun comes out your spirits lift, and you are so thankful for warmth.
Plus think of all the cute coats and scarves you get to buy. ohhhh the winter clothes shopping will be lovely. Did you get much in CA?
sorry I posted five hundered times. But I like you dude.
Talk to you soon.
